Pelesys is pleased to announce it has released its newest Special Operations course title, Stabilized Approach/Low Energy Awareness. Pelesys’ new Stabilized Approach/Low Energy Awareness is designed for flight crews requiring initial and recurrent training. The course outlines the concepts and safety benefits of stabilized approaches, as well as, un-stabilized approaches and how to prevent them. Topics also include the planning of, and hazards associated with, go-arounds once the aircraft has entered a low energy state.
Stabilized Approach/Low Energy Awareness is just one of over 30 Special Operations Courses offered from Pelesys’ extensive Special Operations courseware library. Pelesys has also released updated versions of other courseware titles, including Dangerous Goods, Security, Windshear, Performance Based Navigation (PBN), Safety Management System (SMS), and Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM). Each course is developed to comply with ICAO, EASA, FAA, Transport Canada, as well as, other regulatory authorities.
